Gate warning signs

These signs can vary from a simple ‘Keep Gate Closed’ through to a more important ‘Warning Crushing Hazard’ sign. It is also important to state whether a gate is automatic or not, which way the gate will open, how many vehicles can pass through at any one time and whether or not it has an arm which can also cause injury.

On occasion, these signs can also just hold simple information such as guests reporting to reception, keeping gates closed when they are not being used or a simple ‘Approach Slowly’ instruction giving drivers an indication of when the gate will open for them. Whatever the message, the importance here is providing information so that all who are around the gate can be there in a safe manner.
