Loading zone signs

Street signage needs always to be clear and concise in order to prevent accidents. ‘Loading Zone’ signs are particularly important in order to ensure that bays are not blocked up by unwanted parked cars. With this in mind, it is important that these signs stand out to drivers, so using red and white is a good colour combination. Using the universally recognized capital P within a crossed through circle indicates that no parking is permitted. Stating that it is a loading zone beneath will help to provide information. It may also be worthwhile to place distance arrows, so drivers know how far the loading zone extends.
